Payment of Monetary Relief to SC/ST Atrocity Victims:-

Under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, if any SC/ST person is affected in atrocities by any non SC/ST person certain monetary relief is paid depending upon the nature of offence as per permissible amount under concerned section of this act. To get this monetary relief the victim has to submit an application to the Collector along with copy of FIR, Bank Passbook (1st page with Account No. and IFSC) and Aadhaar. In case of non-availability of Aadhaar, copy of Voter Id Card can be given.

Payment of Incentive for Inter Caste Marriage:-

Financial Incentive is paid to the Inter Caste married couple (between SC and General/SEBC/OBC Hindu). To get this financial incentive the couple have to submit the application to the DWO along with copies of Marriage Registration Certificate, Caste Certificate, Age Proof, Id Proof, Residential Certificate, Joint Bank Passbook of the couple (1st page with Account No. and IFSC).

Pre-matric & Post-matric Scholarships to SC/ST, OBC/SEBC students:-

SC/ST, OBC/SEBC students are eligible to get Pre-matric & Post-matric Scholarship for pursuing studies in the Govt. Educational Institutes and Recognized Private Educational Institutes for Ten months of the academic year. For Post-matric Scholarship they have to apply online through PRERANA Portal of ST & SC Development Department. They have to visit the website www.stscodisha.gov.in . The details of eligibility criteria, required documents, stream of education etc. are available in that site. For Pre-matric Scholarship to student has to apply offline. The application is to be submitted to the Head of the Institution. The application forms are supplied by Govt. free of cost.

Bankable Income Generating Scheme:-

Bank loans are provided to BPL SHG(with minimum 7 BPL members) through this scheme for economic development. Govt. subsidy to the tune of 50% of the total project cost or Rs. 10,000/- per BPL member to the limit of 1.25 lakh, whichever is lowest is paid to the SHG through the financing bank for the concerned project. Only the SHGs having SC members are eligible for this benefit. Under DTDP individual ST (having BPL No) are also eligible for bank loan with Rs. 10,000/- subsidy.

Skill Dev. Training & Placement Link Employment Training:-

Skill Development training to educated unemployed SC/ST/OBC/ Minority youth are provided through the registered PIAs. The entire cost of training is borne by OSFDC/OBCFDCC.
